01590 672 158 Pilley Street, Lymington, Hampshire SO41 5QG
This is the perfect pub for tourists and locals alike. John has recently taken over as landlord and follows a list dating back to 1498 (it’s believed that beer has been served there as far as back as 1096!)
The pub is situated in PIlley and has a beautiful thatched roof, open log fires, local ales and tasty food. They don’t have a children’s menu but are always seem happy to do a smaller portion of what’s on the menu for little ones. Typical dishes are their fab burgers, massive fish and chips or a steak for dinner. They’re usually open 12-3 and 6pm – 11pm on a weekday and 12-11pm on a weekend.
There’s a back room that can be used for private parties, there are two open fires and lots of seating. The perfect place for a pint after a long walk.
