I had a wonderful evening out at Greedo in Lymington where Helen McGinn of The Knackered Mothers Wine Club launched her new ‘Homemade Cocktails’ book. It’s got some great ideas – I’m going to try the chocolate vodka very soon plus there are all sorts of suggestions for things like tea syrup to add to your G&T. A very cool stocking filler!
Greedos (go visit for coffee or lunch, it’s at the bottom of Lymington high street) did amazing canapés and Mermaid Gin supplied the G to our G&Ts.
Mermaid is a gin made on the Isle of Wight and Xavier who owns it, showed me the new prototype of their bottles which are just beautiful. I’ve even been promised a tour of the distillery, which I can’t wait to check out!
